When you become novice parents and have a baby, it is hard for you to have a work-life balance. You would face a lot of conflicts between your family and work. You can have more control over your life and have more contentment.

Nobody could work like a robot without taking a rest. Even though you are burned out, you would still try to push yourself more. It is not surprising. A short 5-minute break would help you catch your breath and clear your head to start again.

It is time to take a vacation or get away from your work. Do not put yourself in a stressful environment 24/7. Try to have some time to walk away from it. Maybe another country or a small visit to your friends would bring you a whole new idea.

Dogs are your best friends. They can be with you all the time. They love you all the way regardless of what you give them or how you treat them. They love you unconditionally. Maybe you prefer cats which is fine. As long as you find your favorite pet as your good friend. Petting your dog or cat or other physical contacts would help lower your blood pressure and decrease stress hormones. That does produce a relaxation response.
